Three Educational Programs in West Tennessee Receive Support from Leaders Education Foundation

Educational Programs Receive Support from Leaders Education Foundation

JACKSON, Tenn. (June 3, 2026) – Leaders Education Foundation, a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization, has announced support for three local educational programs in West Tennessee: the Dreamers and Makers Art Club, the Boys & Girls Club Workforce Warriors, and the Leadership Jackson Class of 2025. These programs are dedicated to uplifting local youth, empowering families, and strengthening the future workforce.

“We’re excited to partner with these three local organizations as they strive to make lives better for students in West Tennessee,” said Leigh Anne Bentley, President of Leaders Education Foundation. “Whether it’s through creative expression through an art piece or providing networking opportunities, we’re happy to extend our partnership with these organizations to encourage inspiring and interactive learning experiences for children to not only help their current educational experience, but also their lives in the future.”

The Dreamers and Makers Art Club is a nonprofit that offers an art-centered afterschool program designed to uplift youth from underserved communities by helping them express themselves through visual and culinary arts. Leaders Education Foundation is happy to support their efforts to nurture students' creativity and development in West Tennessee.

Another program that the Foundation is now supporting is the Workforce Warriors through the Boys and Girls Club of the Hatchie River Region. This initiative connects youth with real-world skills and career pathways through employer tours, conversations with workplace leaders, financial literacy training from Leaders Credit Union, and workplace exploration through TCAT Northwest.

Leaders Education Foundation supported the Leadership Jackson Class of 2025 to provide funding for two of their projects. One of their projects was a lobby renovation at Alexander Elementary School which created a welcoming environment for students, families, and visitors. Along with the school project, the Leadership Jackson class also designed and installed a Storybook Trail at Centennial Park, which features interactive story elements and child-height reading panels. The Leadership Jackson Class of 2025, along with the City of Jackson and local officials held a ribbon cutting on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 to celebrate the addition to Centennial Park.
