JACKSON, Tenn. (January 20, 2026) – Leaders Education Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, has recently awarded $10,000 through its Workforce Readiness Scholarships, presented by Dixie®. The Foundation allocates these scholarships three times per year, donating approximately $30,000 annually.
Leigh Anne Bentley, President of Leaders Education Foundation, stated, "We appreciate our ongoing collaboration with Dixie as we work to support students preparing to enter the workforce throughout West Tennessee. Their contributions have allowed us to double the financial assistance available through scholarships for students pursuing workforce certificates or programs within our community."
Each year, Leaders Education Foundation awards workforce-readiness scholarships to 30 students. This program provides up to $1,000 to individuals pursuing workforce-readiness programs or industry certifications at community colleges and technical schools across West Tennessee. The most recent cohort of recipients, recognized in January 2026, represents a variety of institutions and programs in the region.
The application period for scholarships opens annually in April, July, and December. Applicants must be members of the Foundation to be eligible for consideration. Membership is a one-time $10 fee. Scholarship funds can be used for books, materials, supplies, testing fees, tuition, or other related costs associated with their program.
