JACKSON, Tenn. (October 19, 2021)-Leaders Education Foundation presented Commemorative Jackson & Madison County Bicentennial Educational Coloring Books to Jackson's Mayor Scott Conger and to Madison County’s Trustee John Newman in recognition of the Bicentennial educational project.
The educational coloring book is a product of the Bicentennial Commission and a labor of love by local artists that Leaders Education Foundation was proud to sponsor. There were 10,000 books distributed to area schools. Dr. Marlon King, on behalf of JMCSS, received coloring books for each JMCSS student enrolled in Pre-K through 5th grade. Additional books will also be delivered to private schools and local home school programs. Thank you to Community Montessori School and Dr. Harris for hosting the special presentation.
